Michael Valenzuela and Skylar Ziegler of the Sandpoint Police Department take the life of a pregnant woman using the same weapon as the Aurora, Colorado and Parkland, Florida mass shooters.

Prosecutor Barry McHugh called it justified because “Idaho Police Officers Standards & Training calls for a 21-foot space between an officer and someone with a knife.” You tell me. Who got closer than 21 feet, the victim or the police?

Ziegler went on to say that he saw Valenzuela’s muzzle flash and felt himself “like following through with my trigger.”

Guess who is now a certified instructor for other Idaho Police Officers? You guessed it, Skylar C. Ziegler himself. One can only speculate that Zieglers training specialty is “How to kill a pregnant woman while wearing shorts and not thinking for yourself.”
