Wylie Hunter is an admitted drug smuggler. He transported marijuana from Canada to Idaho and freely admits he did it. So why are the people of North Idaho and reporters from the Spokesman Review and CDA Press hailing him as a hero? Well, it’s simple. He’s a drug smuggler, but he’s not a first rate jackass. That label goes to our friends at the Kootenai County Prosecutors office and the Idaho State Police.

Oh to be a jackass. Let us count the ways. No probable cause for the traffic stop. Check. State Trooper lying about the smell of marijuana. Check. Illegal detention waiting for a drug dog. Check. Fake witnesses. Check. Planted Evidence. Check. Destroyed Evidence. Check.

This systematic jackassery from the lowest to the highest ranks is making even the most ardent anti-drug Idahoan stop and say, drugs are bad, but these guys are worse.

Recently Wylie decided to take his case to the US District Court. And even in this thin blue line, suck the cock of your local officer part of the country, people are turning against the cops. People know if it can happen to Wylie, it can happen to them.
