Ben Wolfinger doesn’t remember much about dating Lori Isenberg in the 90’s. After all, it was the 90’s. Everyone was high on Benadryl. Or maybe that was just Ben. According to the Bonner County Daily Bee, Ben and Lori, “Did a lot of work in the chamber together in the late ’90s and early 2000s,” One can only assume he was referring to this chamber:

Don’t worry though. Ben has investigated himself and assured the general public that he and Lori’s past relationship won’t affect his investigation of Lori. To make sure he came to the right conclusion, he called Barry McHugh and asked him to agree. Barry obliged saying, “I do not have any concerns with the sheriff exercising his authority appropriately.” One can only speculate that when Ben heard the word exercise and authority, his mind went back to the good old days of his time in the chamber with Lori. “I guess that’s what happens in a small town,” he said.
